July 10, 2017 — My first whitewater rafting trip! I can’t imagine having a more expert and fun guide than Bill. Whitewater rafting had always been out of my comfort zone, but my 16 yr. old grandson was visiting from Massachusetts, so my husband and I, both in our sixties, thought, ‘what the heck, we ain’t getting any younger,’ so we did it, thinking it would be a great memory for our grandson to have of us together. Personally, I wish I’d started doing this years ago; we had an absolute blast! (Even if Bill did seem to always hit those rapids so I’d get swamped! I think that’s the cleanest my left ear has ever been!)

Seriously, Bill’s calm, easy manner, experience/knowledge of the ebb and flow of the river, and it’s history, made it a wonderful day. So if you’re up for a little adventure, beautiful scenery and just a genuinely good time, just go for it!
